Terms of use
Welcome to Mad Over Play (play.madovertech.io), an everyday browser games hub published by Mad Over Technology ("we", "us", "our"). By using the site or any of the games on it (together, the "Service"), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
1. The Service
Mad Over Play offers free, browser-based mini games. There are no accounts, sign-ups, or payments. Some games run on a daily cycle that resets in UTC, and your progress, streaks, and sound preference are stored locally in your browser as described in our Privacy page.
2. Who can use it
The games are suitable for general audiences. If local law in your country sets a minimum age for using websites or processing analytics about you, you confirm you meet that age — or that a parent or guardian is supervising your use.
3. Acceptable use
Please use the Service for personal, non-commercial entertainment. You agree not to:
- Attempt to disrupt, overload, or interfere with the site, its hosting, or other players' experience.
- Probe, scan, or test the security of the Service, or bypass any access or rate-limiting controls.
- Scrape, crawl, or harvest content at a rate or scale that goes beyond ordinary play (automated indexing that respects robots.txt is fine).
- Reverse engineer the games to cheat shared daily leaderboards or to misrepresent results.
- Use the Service for anything unlawful, infringing, or harmful.
4. Intellectual property
The site, the games, the source code, the visual design, the "Mad Over Play" and "Mad Over Technology" names, and the related logos and branding are owned by Mad Over Technology or used under licence. You may play the games and link to pages on the site freely. You may not copy, modify, redistribute, or create derivative works of the site or its games for commercial purposes without our written permission.
Third-party assets used by the site (for example, the Sora typeface served by Google Fonts) remain the property of their respective owners and are used under their own licences.
5. Changes to the games
The lineup of games, daily puzzles, scoring, and features may change at any time without notice. We may add, modify, retire, or temporarily take down any game. Locally stored data such as streaks or best scores may be reset if a game's storage format changes; we'll try to migrate data where it's reasonable, but we don't guarantee preservation of any local data.
6. Third-party services
The Service uses Google Analytics, Google Fonts, and Google App Engine hosting. Your use of those features is also subject to Google's terms and privacy policies. See our Privacy page for details.
7. Disclaimer
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We don't warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that any particular game will be available on a given day. Daily puzzles are intended for entertainment only.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mad Over Technology and its team are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill, or local game progress, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we'll change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. The courts located in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising out of or in connection with the Service, except where mandatory local law in your country of residence provides otherwise.
