Mad Over Play (play.madovertech.io) is a small, free games site published by Mad Over Technology. There are no accounts, no sign-ups, and no payments here. This page explains the small amount of data the site does work with so you can decide how comfortable you are playing.

What we don't collect

We don't ask for your name, email address, phone number, location, or any other personal details. There's nothing to log into and no profile to fill out. We don't run advertising, and we don't sell or share data with anyone for marketing purposes.

What stays in your browser

Each game saves a little bit of progress to your browser's local storage so the site feels personal across visits. This data lives on your device and is never sent to us:

The site also uses session storage for short-lived UI state (the visual transition between the hub and a game). All of this clears when you wipe your browser data, switch browsers, or play in a private window.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-MRTY4SPDC1) to understand how many people visit, which games are popular, and roughly where traffic is coming from. Google Analytics may set cookies and process data such as your IP address, device and browser type, referring URL, and page paths. We use this in aggregate — we don't try to identify individual visitors.

If you'd rather not be measured, you can use a browser extension that blocks Google Analytics, enable "Do Not Track" / Global Privacy Control, or use a private window. The games will still work normally.

Other third parties

To render the page, your browser also loads:

These providers may log basic request information (IP address, user agent, timestamp) for routine operational and security purposes. Refer to Google's privacy policy for details.

Children

The games are suitable for general audiences. Because we don't ask for any personal information and don't run advertising or social features, the site doesn't knowingly collect data from anyone, including children.

Your choices

You can clear local game data, streaks, and the sound preference at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser settings. You can opt out of analytics with an extension or private browsing as described above.

Changes

If we change how the site handles data, we'll update this page and bump the "Last updated" date at the top. Material changes will also be reflected in the parent Mad Over Technology privacy policy.
